Zanzibar, Tanzania
The Zanzibar Outreach Program
ZOP is a locally led organization serving communities across Zanzibar. Founded in 2006, this local organization was established with the goal of providing essential community services to the residents of Unguja and Pemba islands. ZOP's work includes healthcare, education, and clean water access.
Over the years, this organization has become one of the most respected nongovernmental organizations in Zanzibar. Their team brings deep cultural knowledge, trusted local relationships, and a long-standing presence within the communities Bloom serves.
Through our partnership with ZOP, Bloom supports clean water systems that prioritize direct access at the household level, ensuring families can meet daily needs without long walks or unsafe sources.

Through this partnership, Bloom Together Collective works closely with ZOP to ensure projects are shaped by local priorities and carried out with long-term sustainability in mind. ZOP’s deep understanding of community dynamics, cultural context, and on-the-ground realities allows projects to move beyond short-term fixes toward solutions that are practical, trusted, and community-owned.

Together, Bloom and ZOP collaborate on planning, implementation, and ongoing engagement—ensuring that clean water systems are not only built, but maintained and respected as shared community resources. This partnership reflects Bloom’s commitment to working alongside organizations that lead from within the community and share a long-term vision for health, education, and dignity.
