Richard is a seasoned Information Technology executive with almost three decades of experience, driving innovation, strategy, and operational excellence in the IT sector. Richard’s journey in tech began in the mid-90s, working as a technician while earning his degree, eventually becoming IT Manager for the Latin America operations of a small energy producer owned by Shell Oil & Gas. Richard eventually founded his own IT consulting firm, which he operated for many years and then merged with what it known today as Internos Group. Currently, he is a Partner and CTO at Internos, intimately involved in growing the firm into one of the premiere Cybersecurity
and IT support companies in South Florida. He leads impactful technology initiatives for their clients, aligning cutting-edge solutions with client business goals to deliver measurable impact to their businesses. Richard’s expertise spans cloud computing, cybersecurity, data systems, and emerging technologies, with a strong focus supporting Law and CPA firms in addition to other professional service organizations.

Beyond his professional work, Richard is currently serving as a Board Member on the Greater Miami Expressway Agency, which provides Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties safe and reliable transportation systems among five key roadways. Additionally, Richard participates regularly in local business networking events and loves making connections with like-minded business leaders throughout South Florida. He is also involved as an Emeritus Board member on the Saint Timothy’s Men’s Club, a Catholic men’s ministry group serving his Parish and the greater community, promoting fundraising events, faith development, fellowship, and service.
Born and raised in Miami, Richard earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Florida International University’s School of Business in 1997. He has also maintained several technical certifications throughout his career. Together with his wife Maria, they have raised three wonderful children together – Ashley, Alyssa, and Richie.
