
Alina Muir-Gonzalez
Director
Alina Muir is an influential professional educator with more than 25 years of experience guiding students’ academic, social, and personal growth. She has served as Department Chair of Health & Exercise Sciences at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, where she led curriculum innovation, faculty development, and student-centered initiatives, while also mentoring in technology, directing school-wide events, and coordinating the Miami Herald Silver Knight Award candidates. Previously, she taught technology, health, and physical education at St. John Neumann Catholic School, where she also coordinated scheduling, led health and wellness programs, and directed the school’s summer camp.
A self-motivated leader, she is dedicated to advancing student achievement through collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators, while instilling values of self-worth, high morals, and a faith-filled life.

She holds a Master’s in Educational Computing and Technology from Barry University, a Bachelor’s in Physical Education from Florida International University, and multiple Florida Professional Educator certifications.
