Ashley Blanco
Founder / Executive Director
Ashley Blanco is the Founder and Executive Director of Bloom Together Collective, where she leads the organization’s clean water initiatives across East Africa. Her passion for service and international development began through early work on clean water systems in the Dominican Republic and continued through fieldwork across East Africa, where she witnessed how water scarcity impacts public health, education, and economic opportunity.
Based full-time in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Ashley works closely with local partners and communities to implement water infrastructure projects that expand access to safe, reliable water.
In her role, she oversees program development, builds partnerships with locally led organizations, and guides project implementation from planning through completion — ensuring each solution is shaped by community needs and built for long-term sustainability.
Ashley is a double alumna of Florida State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs (2023) and a Master of Public Administration (2024) with a specialization in International Nongovernmental Organizations. She also holds a Certificate in Civic and Nonprofit Leadership and was recognized with the Neil Crispo Service Award for her commitment to service and leadership.
